Nassim Ebrahimi

Nassim joined Education Strategy Group in December 2021 as a Coach helping to advance ESG’s work with higher education systems and institutions.

She is passionate about student learning, teaching, and ensuring that community colleges produce a highly-qualified, productive, 21st-century workforce by supporting a diverse student body. She assists community colleges across the country in developing and systematizing sustainable course-, program-, and institutional-level learning outcomes assessment processes, in addition to providing comprehensive system and process improvement, true scalability, and accreditation support. Dr. Ebrahimi shares her experiences and expertise with others through journal articles, book chapters, and conference and keynote presentations.

She has led teams in learning outcomes assessment; strategic planning; institutional research; communications and marketing; resource development; and project management at Prince George’s, Baltimore City, Anne Arundel, and Howard Community Colleges in Maryland. Dr. Ebrahimi has also taught courses in psychology and facilitated workshops for a myriad of 2- and 4-year pubic and private colleges and universities.

Dr. Ebrahimi earned her Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Developmental Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University in State College, Pennsylvania. She received two B.S. degrees (Neurobiology and Physiology and Psychology) from the University of Maryland, College Park. She currently lives in Maryland with her family.
