Gabrielle Butler is a rising senior at Quinnipiac University majoring in Marketing, with a strong foundation in social media strategy, data analytics, and economics. Her coursework in microeconomics and macroeconomics has deepened her understanding of labor markets, consumer behavior, and the broader economic impact of education—insights that inform her strategic approach to marketing. She previously served as a social media marketing manager for a small business in Florida and interned with Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), where she created immersive photo and video content to enhance brand storytelling.

At Quinnipiac, Gabrielle is leading the planning and execution of a campus event that will connect successful entrepreneurs with business students, overseeing outreach, logistics, and promotion. Before transitioning into marketing, she earned an Associate’s degree in education and worked full-time as a paraeducator in a Connecticut elementary school. With roots in a family of educators, Gabrielle is passionate about the long-term impact of education on individuals and the economy, a value that continues to shape her goals and work ethic.

Why are you in this work?

I’ve seen firsthand how education shapes lives and communities. Using my marketing and communication skills to support that mission feels like a way I can contribute meaningfully, helping to share stories that inspire and connect people to important opportunities.

Why ESG?

ESG’s dedication to equity and thoughtful approaches to education really resonate with me. I want to be a part of a group that doesn’t just talk about change but works carefully and intentionally to make education better for everyone, ESG is that.
