Kristi Ransick
Director
Kristi Ransick joined ESG in 2024 as Director, Strategic Project Management.
Prior to joining ESG, Kristi was an independent consultant supporting education non-profits, education technology companies, and foundations on strategic planning, product development, convening design, and project management. Previously, she was Director, Education at Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Philanthropies, where she was a member of the grant-making team and led network and convening activities. She was a Principal at NewSchools Venture Fund, where she led work on school turnaround, teacher preparation, and reimagining school portfolios. She also supported the Academic Systems Initiative aimed at supporting the effectiveness of teachers and leaders by creating a next generation of academic systems.
Prior to that, Kristi spent more than seven years at Teachscape holding several positions including Vice President, Product Design and Development where she oversaw the development of all online courses and print materials. She was also part of product development teams at Education Development Center and the American Museum of Natural History. She led the design and implementation of professional development programs for K-12 teachers at Teacher’s College and Columbia University. She began her career teaching and leading programs at The Children’s Museum, Boston.
Kristi earned an Ed.M. from Harvard University Graduate School of Education and a B.A. in Biology and Chemistry from Middlebury College.
