Why are you in this work?
I’ve always been interested in how schools are structured and how they offer opportunities for students, especially after volunteering in schools that looked vastly different from those where I grew up in rural North Carolina. This experience reinforced an interest in ensuring that all students, regardless of their background or zip code, have equitable access to a high-quality education.
Why ESG?
ESG is a mission-driven organization that is truly focused on improving the lives of students. I was also drawn to how smart, kind, and solutions oriented the team is.
