Marie O’Hara

Marie O’Hara is currently an independent consultant with nearly 20 years of experience in education policy and research. Most recently, Marie was the Director of Research at Achieve, where she was a recognized national expert with breadth and depth of knowledge of states’ K-12 and higher education policies, implementation efforts, and student outcomes around academic standards, graduation requirements, data, accountability and assessment systems. Marie is committed to getting the right information and evidence at the right time to students, families, schools, and education leaders to better inform key decisions. Marie earned a B.A. in Political Science from Wake Forest University and an M.P.P. from Georgetown University with a concentration in Education Policy.
