Why are you in this work?

My mother has been an educator for almost 40 years and has always pushed upon me the importance of education. Growing up in a low-income, Black community, I experienced firsthand the lack of educational resources and opportunities allotted to communities like mine. This experience has caused me to form a passion for making education equitable.

Why ESG?

ESG consists of many different professionals with diverse backgrounds in education and beyond. Everyone shares the same passion for equity and opportunity. I know this is the perfect place for me to grow as a professional and an individual.
