Why are you in this work?
I grew up in Western Kentucky where a lot of folks believe that if the primary economic engine (coal-mining) collapses, they are left with few options to provide for themselves and their family. Options through increased opportunity should not be reserved for those that are fortunate enough to attend our best public and private K-12 schools and postsecondary institutions. It should be afforded to every American household, and I committed to making that happen.
I am deeply committed to ESG’s mission. I believe that with better alignment of systems, we can provide youth and adults more options and opportunities for long-term success.
