Why are you in this work?
My educational experiences have fundamentally shaped every aspect of my identity and enabled me to pursue multiple types of personal and professional opportunities. I believe that I have an educational and moral responsibility to enhance access to transformative learning opportunities for children and youth from birth through postsecondary education. In particular, I am committed to developing and implementing systemic strategies to address educational inequities and close persistent attainment and achievement gaps that disproportionately affect students of color and students from lower-income communities.
ESG collaborates with partners across the education, workforce, and political sectors to change both discourse and action, enhance policy alignment and coherence, and increase capacity to effectively and efficiently implement strategies at multiple levels of the education system.
